Advantech was founded in 1996 to assist customers with both understanding and implementing rapidly changing Information Technology.

Ed Dombrowski, Principal Consultant and Owner, founded Advantech Consulting in 1996. He has diverse experience in computer systems design, development and life-cycle, with a broad range of experience in Internet, PC/Client server, and Host mainframe environments. He has continuously demonstrated the ability to work closely with all levels of management and staff to design and develop successful business system solutions.

Mr. Dombrowski has designed, created and maintained numerous Web sites and has become an expert in Internet system architecture, web design and development,  and LAN/WAN connectivity. He combines strong design and analytical ability with proven adaptability to various technical environments.

Ed enjoys Golf, Boating and Fishing in his free time.

John Hewitt joined Advantech in 2007 as a Senior Technical Consultant.

John has over 20 years experience in the Passenger Vessel Industry, and played a key role in the design and development of the Advantech Ticketing system.

Mr. Hewitt has broad experience in project and staff management. He has participated in many successful development and maintenance projects, and consistently demonstrates his ability to lead a project team.

John enjoys Beach Volleyball, Boating, Fishing, Giants Football, Yankee Baseball, Celtics Basketball, UFC, and Nascar.

Brad Bielawski joined Advantech in 2010 as a Technical Consultant. After graduating from The University of Connecticut in 1999 Brad was employed in the Insurance and Customer Service Industries for almost 10 years developing excellent customer support skills. He decided to go back to school to pursue a career in the IT industry and obtained his A+ certification.

Mr. Bielawski is already very well versed in Windows Desktop and Server operating systems along with Networking components. He readily accepts new challenges and is eager to broaden his skill set.

Brad enjoys biking, guitar, and movies.

John Kulas joined Advantech in 2010 as a Business Systems Consultant. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Boston College, and has worked in various IT jobs since 1986.

Mr. Kulas has experience in application development for inventory control, asset maintenance and repair systems, medical, and banking applications. He has also developed custom interfaces to various ERP and accounting systems. His skill set includes systems analysis, documentation, testing, installation, configuration and training along with database design, architecture, and administration.

John is an accomplished golfer and an overall sports enthusiast.

Nancy Sheldon joined Advantech in 2010 as a part time Consultant. She has 10 years of experience in creating and maintaining customized applications for a small health insurance company. Nancy also spent the last 2 years in a local nonprofit managing the organization's website and donor databases. Her areas of expertise include development and implementation, data querying and reporting, data conversion and validation, and end user training and support.

Nancy enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking.
